Y108 WDSY (107.9 FM) Boys of Fall Promotion

Y108 WDSY (107.9 FM) is announcing our 2014 Y108 Boys of Fall Promotion and your school was nominated to participate!

Weekly, Y108 will post area schools on the website at y108.com. (The schedule will be determined by those schools that participate and we will try to separate by class so that Single A schools will not have to compete with Quad A schools.)   We will promote for your school and community to vote. For the school receiving the most votes that week, I will broadcast my show live from their home game that week from 7pm to 11pm.

Y108 may ask for contact information for your head coach, band director or cheerleading coach so that we can ask one of them or one or more players, band members, or cheerleaders to appear on our station to cheer on your “Boys of Fall” and ask the community for votes.

Voting will begin Saturday starting at 8am and run through Thursday at 9pm weekly for that week’s game.  During that time, Y108 will encourage members of your community along with your student body to go to Y108.com and vote for your school.

The school that receives the most votes over the season during their week will receive a Pep Rally at your school from Y108 on October 29, 2014 during the afternoon featuring Warner Music Nashville recording artists, Dan + Shay.

If you agree to allow your school to participate, you must opt in. You can do that by responding to this e-mail. I would ask that you do so by this Thursday August 27th.

This lottery number remains with you for the year. When more spaces become available in the upper lot your lottery number will determine those spots. Those picked for the upper lot may decline and choose the warrior center at the lower rate.  Those seniors who did not apply can do so if and when more spots become available. Announcements will be made or posted regarding this.
